MCS Calculations and QMS

The Microgeneration MCS calculation module is web based and complies with the latest MCS standards for the following technologies.

RHI and Solar PV Feed in tariff calculation

The feed in tariff is calculated based upon a number of parameters including projected retail price inflation, energy cost inflation, electricity exported percentage, FIT rate and VAT. All of these parameters are customisable to make sure you can give the best estimate to your customer. The software calculates the energy produced in accordance with the MCS specification and applies the parameters to calculate the payback period for the technology. This can be displayed on screen or included in a quotation.

Quality Management System Features

QMS is a web based system for businesses wishing to achieve certification under a variety of construction industry accreditation schemes from ISO9001 to the Microgeneration Certification Scheme.

The MCS installer default project types are duplicated from a project template.  You create your own master projects containing all of the relevant commissioning forms, tasks and manufacturers technical documents which need to be issued for project completion.  The default projects are as follows:

  • Photovoltaic
  • Solar Thermal
  • Wind Turbine
